Blue Point: All warranty on Blue Point & Snap On tools are supported by Discount Tools NZ & not your local dealers. We are a parallel importer not a dealer of Snap On NZ & AU. We are not affiliated with Blue Point, Snap On NZ & AU we also do not cover warranties from your local dealer.
The warranty that is offered by Discount Tools NZ is the following
- Sockets, spanners, screwdrivers, ratchets, extensions, hand tools, hammers etc. Limited warranty. Limited warranty is supplied by Discount Tools & not by your snap on agent
- Jacks, electrical, Lifts, Tyre machines, wheel balancers, power tools etc. 2 year warranty.
- We will ensure that our obligations under all New Zealand & Australian Acts are met. If a product develops a fault within its warranty period, Please contact us for service.

Discount Tools Branded Tools: These tools carry a limited 6 month limited warranty when used in the way they are intended, Using the tool for applications will void any warranty.
Diagnostic Scanners: Discount Tools takes no responsibility for damage caused by in proper use or non trained people carrying out advanced functions with diagnostics tools. It is highly recommended that you make a back up file before performing any changes to a vehicle control unit. It is also recommended for any coding or programming a stable power supply is used. If you brick a control unit it’s not the responsibility of DTNZ this is at the operators risk.

Autel warrants to its customers that this product will be free from all defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one(1)year from the date of the original purchase, subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. The sole responsibility of Autel under the Warranty is limited to either the repair or, at the option of Autel, replacement of the scan tool at no charge with Proof of Purchase.The sales receipt may be used for this purpose.
2. This warranty does not apply to damages caused by improper use, accident, flood, lightning, or if the product was altered or repaired by anyone other than the Manufacturer Service Center.
3.Autel shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use, misuse, or mounting of the scan tool.Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
Repair Cost: If under warranty, your Autel tool will be repaired or replaced free of charge unless damaged(including but not limited to a cracked screen, broken case, chemical exposure or liquid damage)to accident, abuse, misuse, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions or unauthorised disassembly, repair or modification.If the repaired unit is out of warranty, the customer will be contacted and will be responsible for the repair fee.
Launch:
Launch warrants to its customers that this product will be free from all defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one(1)year from the date of the original purchase, subject to the following terms and conditions:
